You will receive an email asking to confirm your given email address.
Master Builders Membership
If you become a member of Master Builders, you can gain assistance and help through their members-only program. You are provided with assistance in becoming an RBP (Registered Building Practitioner). You will be in the guidance of industry leaders who are well equipped with passion and skills required to support their members. Master Builders Membership gives you the access to avail exclusive builder workshops, prepared specially for students who are preparing to register with the VBA as:
- a Domestic Builder Unlimited (DBU),
- a Domestic Builder Manager (DBM), or
- a Commercial Builder (CBL or CBU)
These exclusive builder workshops are offered only to the members of Master Builders free of charge.
Membership Criteria
There is a certain criteria that you have to fulfil in order to be eligible for membership
1. Threshold criteria
- companies and partnerships that hire people in the industry, or
- Those who are self-employed
2. Minimum experience and qualifications
For Housing (head) contractors, they should be registered as per the Building Act 1993.
3. Business experience
It is required that all applicants have minimum two years of experience as traders.
4. Referees
You need satisfactory references from minimum 4 independent referees.

- Previous supervisors/employers
- Trade suppliers
5. Other checks
In order for an application to be accepted, a satisfactory criminal and financial history report are required.
